Location and Driving Directions

  1. Once you get your rental car, follow the signs to Cabo San Lucas that gets you on the toll road bypass around San Jose del Cabo. The toll road leaves from the main terminal.map_los_cabos_airport
  2. After about 9 miles you will reach the toll booth where you have to pay about 27 Pesos (~$2.50 USD). At the intersection after the toll booth, turn right to Cabo San Lucas. You are now on Mex #1 about 20 miles from Cabo San Lucas.

  3. Watch for COSTCO on your right hand side of the road.  As you pass Costco, stay in the right hand lane for about 2 miles.  Take a right at the next major intersection.  You will then drive through 1 intersection, staying in the right hand lane.  At the next intersection you will take a right.  There will be a Pemex gas station on your right and a large yellow shopping center across the street.
  4. To stop and buy groceries there is a supermarket 1 block up from the interection on the right hand side of the road.    It is called Chedraui.  They  have alot of american products and a pretty good wine and liquor selection also.
  5. Leaving the supermarket, take a right and head towards Todos Santos.   You are now on Mex #19, about an hour from Las Palmas Tropicales.  At this time you will encounter road construction along the way in  as they are building a 4 lane highway all the way to Todos Santo,  so  please drive carefully.  This may sound crazy but watch out for cows, goats and donkeys on the road along the way.  Welcome to Mexico…. just drive defensively.
  6. Once you enter the small town of Pescadero, you are almost here!!    The turn off to the beach is about a mile past the gas station.  You will pass the Nava hardware store on the left and a few other stores.  You need to look for an old white trailer with green at the bottom (on the left hand side of the road) It sits down off the road(they are building up the road for the new highway) Take a left hand turn onto the dirt road at this trailer.  You will also see a sign with a large red arrow that says  Pescadero Palace Villa Rentals. (this is our neighbors place)  Be sure not to miss the turn,  we do not have signs posted.  Once you turn at the trailer,  drive straight ahead to the mountain.  Please remember, if you miss the trailer and pass a large warehouse (brick and light green color, you have gone too far and need to turn around) As you head towards the mountain, you will pass fields on your right.  Drive around the mountain and head towards the beach.  You will pass a 3 story white house, a 2 story white house with slate roof and then a yellow house with an ultra lite plane infront under a palapa.  We are on the beach side of the yellow house and palapa.  Our house is a light yellow 3 story with lots of windows and a palapa roof.  We also have a rock wall surrounding our property and a large bright blue gate.  There are private property signs at the driveway.
  7. Dont forget to pack warm clothes for the evenings and mornings (winter months) as it is chilly.  And please remember your sunblock and beach towels as we do not suppy them.
